I had a mixed experience at Canalview Hotel Ter Reien. The location was fantastic. right by the canal and close to the main square, making it easy to explore Bruges. However, the room was quite cramped and had some issues, such as an awkward bathroom setup. The breakfast was decent but could have been better stocked. Overall, it was a good value but with room for improvement.

While my room had beautiful views and was cozy, it felt very squashed. I even bruised my toe getting out of bed. The bathroom was too small and had an awkward layout without proper privacy.
Service

The staff were friendly. but I noticed they were only available for limited hours. I felt a bit unwelcomed during the check-in process, which was a downside.

One of the highlights was definitely the location. nestled in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to the heart of Bruges with great views of the canal.

Breakfast was included and featured fresh baked bread. although it could have benefited from a better selection and more timely replenishing.
Facilities

The hotel could use some improvements. the wifi connection was poor, and some basic amenities like toiletries were chargeable or unavailable.

My stay at Canalview Hotel Ter Reien was a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood close to the center of Bruges with lovely canal views. However, I found the rooms quite dingy and in need of refurbishment, and the lack of proper facilities was a letdown. Breakfast was decent but not nice, and the small bathroom situation was a bit uncomfortable.

The honeymoon suite was beautifully decorated with an amazing view, but I've heard the standard rooms can be dingy and cramped. Some bathrooms even lack a proper door, which wasn't ideal.
Service

The staff were polite and accommodating, providing a key code for late check-in and easy checkout, but the hotel felt understaffed at times.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet area, close to the historic center and the canal, which was perfect for exploring Bruges on foot.
Dining

Breakfast included nicely baked bread, but it was a bit underwhelming overall. I expected more variety for the price we paid.
Facilities

The hotel was lacking in essential facilities like tea/coffee options, and the towels were very thin. The lack of proper toiletries also added to the inconvenience.

I found Canalview Hotel Ter Reien to be a mixed bag. The location is ideal, right next to the canal, providing lovely views. However, I faced some issues with the lack of basic amenities and maintenance. While my bed was comfy, the absence of shampoo and a hairdryer felt off for the price I paid. Overall, it's a decent place for a short stay, but it could definitely use some improvements.

The room had a beautiful view of the canal and was clean, though the lack of basics like a hairdryer was disappointing. Also, the layout with the shower and toilet was quite unusual and not very practical.
Service

While the check-in process was quick and the staff I encountered were kind, the overall service felt lacking, especially considering I had to pay extra for things like toiletries.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet area right by the canal, which made walking to Bruges' main attractions so easy. I really appreciated that it was close to the market square.

Breakfast included some fresh baked bread, but it was quite limited, and I felt it could use more variety for a more satisfying start to the day.

The lack of air conditioning was a downside, especially on warmer days. I think they should seriously consider improving maintenance, as some areas looked like they were still under construction.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Canalview Hotel Ter Reien. The location was excellent, right by the canal and within a short walk to the city center. but the room left much to be desired. Although it was clean and offered a quaint view of the canal, the bathroom's layout was quite impractical, and I found the staff's attitude at times to be less than welcoming.

My Comfort Double Room with Canal View was charming but showed signs of being unfinished. The lack of privacy in the bathroom with no door made things uncomfortable. plus, the noise from the bed was hard to ignore. Still, it was clean and had big windows that opened onto the canal.
Service

I encountered some issues with the staff. the front desk service was a bit grumpy, and there were strict check-in hours that I wasn't made aware of. It certainly could have been improved to make guests feel more welcome.

The hotel's location was fantastic. I loved being right by the canal and just a short walk from the heart of Bruges. It felt peaceful, yet very close to everything I wanted to explore.
Dining

The breakfast was decent. it included various items like bread and cured meats, but I did wish there were a few more options. Still, it was a pleasant way to start the day.

While the hotel was clean and well-kept, the overall facilities felt basic and lacking some amenities like shower gel or hair dryers, which were available for an extra charge. I did appreciate the housekeeping service, though.

I enjoyed my stay at Canalview Hotel Ter Reien. the beautiful view of the canal from my room was a highlight. The location was peaceful and within walking distance to major Bruges attractions. However, some aspects left much to be desired, such as the lack of basic amenities like shampoo and the heating situation in my room.

I had a Comfort Double Room with a lovely canal view, which was enjoyable. but it was quite small and lacked sufficient furniture. The bed was large and comfortable, making it easier to overlook the cramped space.
Service

The staff were friendly and accommodating. but I experienced some inconsistency regarding available amenities. I had to pay extra for a hairdryer, which I felt should have been included.

The hotel's location was excellent, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to the bus line. it was just a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the center of Bruges.

While the hotel was clean and modern, the lack of some common facilities, like a properly heated room, was disappointing. it made my stay less comfortable than expected.
